The Board of Directors of State Auto Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:STFC) has filled two vacancies by electing David R. Meuse and Alexander B. Trevor as directors, effective April 3. A principal at Stonehenge Financial Holdings, Inc., a Columbus investment banking and business consulting firm, Meuse, 61, also serves as a director of Columbus-based Diamond Hill Investment Group, Inc. The firm manages mutual and private investment funds. Meuse is also on the board of directors Bluestone Corporation, Bopp-Busch Manufacturing Company, The Columbus Foundation, The Columbus Partnership and Kenyon College, among others. Trevor, 61, is president of Nuvocom, Inc., a patent litigation support firm. He is also a director of Applied Innovation Inc., a Dublin-based network management company. State Auto Financial Corporation, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is a property and casualty insurance holding company. The company markets its personal and commercial insurance products through more than 22,000 independent insurance agents associated with nearly 3,100 agencies in 27 states.
