Disney, DraftKings, Palantir, Li Auto: What to Watch When the Stock Market Opens Today

Here's what we are watching as markets kick into gear
Friday.
-- U.S. stock futures climbed, suggesting most major indexes are
headed for a second week of gains. S&P 500 futures and
Nasdaq-100 futures both gained 0.7%. Economically-sensitive sectors
like energy and banks have been some of the week's best performers.

-- What's coming up. The University of Michigan's preliminary
consumer sentiment index for November, due at 10 a.m., is expected
to hold fairly steady, reflecting the crosscurrents of an uncertain
election, stock market gains, rising employment and more Covid-19
cases.
Market Movers to Watch
-- DraftKings shares rose more than 10% premarket after
reporting growing revenue and user figures for the latest
quarter.
-- Palantir shares fell around 2% premarket, reversing course
after Morgan Stanley cut its rating on the stock. The data analysis
company raised its annual revenue outlook Thursday after it posted
better-than expected sales in its first quarterly report since
going public in September.
-- Cisco shares rose 6.9% premarket after the company reported
better-than-expected earnings, and an outlook that exceeded Wall
Street's expectations.
-- Walt Disney climbed 3.6% premarket after reporting better
streaming figures than expected, and a narrower loss than analysts
had predicted.
-- Li Auto jumped more than 17% premarket after the
electric-vehicle maker reported a quarter-on-quarter rise in
revenue and gross margin.
-- Biopharmaceutical firm Urovant Sciences leapt 90% after
majority shareholder Sumitovant Biopharma agreed to buy the
company's remaining shares.
