21st World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems
(ITS) in Detroit, which brings an
increased level of anticipation since it is taking place in the
Motor City.

Sessions: The ITS World Congress at Cobo Center includes a wide
range of discussions on a variety of topics. Types of panels
include chief technical officer plenary sessions, special interest
sessions and technical sessions. The following list details the

Technology Showcase: Located on Belle
Isle in Detroit, the
technology showcase features demonstrations promoting the latest
individual technologies and highlights the growing integration of
intelligent transportation systems. Visteon will present its
vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology through a ride-and-drive in
which vehicle occupants will experience a fully integrated cockpit
human machine interaction (HMI) under three scenarios: obstructed
stopped vehicle ahead warning, emergency electronic brake light
warning, and slippery road condition ahead warning.
Exhibit: Inside Cobo Center at Booth 801, Visteon will present
technologies that focus on supporting vehicle connectivity. The
exhibit will include a sampling of production and near-term
solutions in telematics, audio and infotainment. Additionally, a
number of cockpit concepts will be on display, including one
designed for an autonomous vehicle.
