Visteon Offers Drivers Peace of Mind with Hands-Free Phone Kit LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC) is now offering drivers the ultimate in comfort and convenience with its Hands-Free Phone Kit, which uses Bluetooth(R) wireless technology to link mobile phone functions to vehicles. Visteon debuted the system today at the 2004 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Booth #34419). Using an easy-to-operate LCD console on the vehicle dashboard, drivers can easily access key features such as their electronic phonebook, caller ID and priority dialing. The system seamlessly integrates into the vehicle's interior roof space and weighs only 2.5 pounds, giving consumers a large 10- inch viewing screen, remote control, and infrared headphones. The docking unit and compatible, portable DVD player are designed as a modular unit. Visteon's Bass Audio Sensation(TM), also shown at SEMA, is a portable subwoofer system that improves in-vehicle bass without increasing sound pressure levels. At just 11 pounds and 5" x 5" x 5", the unit provides as much bass enhancement as two 15-inch subwoofers.
