i posted about a month or so ago that almost a trillion in commercial loans are due by the end of 2024. as i recall, biggums said a big chunk of that is due by the end of september. i dont know it that coincides with our government fiscal year end at the end of september??? also, there’s always a threat of a shut down then also.

the coverup only makes matters worse, especially when the crimes will eventually be exposed.

imo, the public won’t tolerate bailouts and fines. they will want jail time.

It is amazing that winning an employer over requires that one go through a "probationary period". Used to be they just hired you, no 6 month to a year to see how

speaking of gains, i purchased 2412 shares of amc last year on 9-6-23. i just probably saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in capital tax gains. my last short term taxable purchase is on 11-10-23 of 625 shares so i got that to look forward too.

unrealized gains are meaningless, a lot of money managers and funds are fully invested and many of them need to take profits now bc they didnt take profits heading into year end last year.

if that many people were fully invested and or are now taking profits, the selling will beget selling and taxes on gains will beget more selling

the market got extremely pricey

i expect a lot more volatility

hundreds of billions of dollars are dropping out of the markets and crypto recently. are there entities in trouble and in need of cash?
