Specialist insurer Beazley has appointed Jenny Han to underwrite environmental liability risks emanating from the Western region of the United States. She will underwrite business under Beazley's fixed site pollution product ECLIPSE®, designed specifically for transactions and redevelopment projects involving brownfield and contaminated sites. Mrs Han has over thirteen years' experience underwriting environmental business. In her previous role she was divisional vice president at Great American Insurance Company in San Francisco where she focused on the more complex premise pollution liability type risks. She is also a professional geologist and former environmental consultant. Jayne Cunningham, environmental global focus leader at Beazley said:
