Cargill Inc. has considering bidding for Archer Daniels Midland
Co.'s (ADM) cocoa business, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a
source familiar with the situation.
Cargill conducted due diligence on the business in June, the
source told Reuters.
ADM said on June 20 that it maintains "ongoing dialogue with
other agribusiness companies" and said it was in talks for a
possible sale of the cocoa business.
