(NYSE: CVI) (the "Company") today announced that a selling stockholder affiliated with Kelso & Company, L.P. will sell 7,988,179 shares of its common stock to Goldman, Sachs & Co. as the sole underwriter in the registered public offering of those shares. All net proceeds from the sale of the common stock will be received by the selling stockholder. The Company will not receive any of the proceeds.

The shares of common stock are being sold by the selling stockholder in an at-the-market offering pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
