TORONTO, May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rogers Communications Inc. today noted to the investment community and other interested parties that effective Monday, May 15, 2006, its ticker symbols on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") will be modified as noted below. The changes are being made as part of a broader symbol change initiative announced previously by the TSX under which it is modifying the ticker symbols previously assigned for approximately 150 of its listings. For Rogers Communications Inc. on the TSX, RCI.B will replace the current ticker symbol RCI.NV.B for the Class B shares (CUSIP 775109200) and RCI.A will replace the current ticker symbol RCI.MV.A for the Class A shares (CUSIP 775109101). The Rogers Communications Inc. Class B share ticker, RG, on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") will not be impacted by the TSX's changes.
