-- Sequa Corporation today announced that Thomas Mepham, a senior leader with more than 27
years in the aerospace industry, has been named Chief Executive
Officer by the Sequa Board of Directors.

through organic growth and acquisition, led the development of new
manufacturing sites, and driven up revenue and profit margin in
diverse sectors. His expertise spans a broad range of
commercial and military aerospace products, including the original
equipment manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket sectors."
Previously Mepham was Senior Vice President of Power, Controls
and Sensing Systems, and President, Sensors and Integrated Systems,
at United Technologies.
Earlier at Goodrich Corporation he held successive senior
leadership assignments over a 15-year period. At Goodrich he held
the role of President, Interiors, and earlier was President,
Customer Services, and President, Cargo Systems.
He joined Goodrich in 1996 as Vice President and General
Manager, Sensors. Prior to that Mepham held management
positions at Rockwell Collins and Honeywell.
He holds both a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering
and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
