MISGAV, ISRAEL - JULY 23, 2008 - Tefron (NYSE: TFR , TASE: TFR), announced today
that Mr. Yos Shiran, the Company's CEO for the last seven and a half years, has
notified the Company of his decision to resign as the CEO and as a director of
the Company in favor of pursuing other business opportunities.

Mr. Shiran's resignation as CEO will take effect in 90 days. His resignation as
a director of the Company is effective immediately.

The Board of Directors would like to thank Mr. Shiran for his contribution to
the Company. During his dedicated service Mr. Shiran led the Company's
successful transformation to a worldwide leader in the textile industry.
