Elliott Takes 10 of Telecom Italia's 15 Board Seats, Leaving Vivendi With Five

Activist investor Elliott Management took two-thirds of the
seats on Telecom Italia SpA's (TIT.MI) board of directors after a
vote at Friday's annual general meeting.
Out of the 15 board members, 10 will be Elliott appointees,
while Vivendi SA (VIV.FR)--the largest shareholder with a 24%
stake--will only hold five seats.
