implemented its enhanced Real-Time Convergent Charging Solution
with NTELOS, a leading regional provider of wireless and wireline
communications services to consumers and businesses.
NTELOS is the first North American client to benefit from the
recently enhanced Convergys solution, which boasts improved
scalability, reliability, and speed-to-market for communications
service providers in their delivery of real-time services to their
subscribers.
Increasing price competition for prepaid subscribers is leading
to revenue erosion and subscriber churn among telecommunications
providers. Convergys' Real-Time Convergent Charging Solution
enables providers to respond quickly to competition thanks to a
flexible charging environment that enables the creation of

NTELOS is using the convergent charging solution for real-time
Intelligent Network call control, rating and charging, balance
