           Digital Animations Group PLC ("DA Group" or the "Company")

                           Purchase of own Securities

DA Group announces that, on Tuesday 11th March 2003, it purchased 850,000 of its
own ordinary shares at a price of 19 pence per share. This is in accordance with
the authority to make market purchases of shares granted by shareholders at the
Annual General Meeting held on 3 October 2002.

The shares will be cancelled. Following this cancellation, DA Group will have
30,006,026 ordinary shares in issue.

500,000 of these shares were purchased from Colin McNab, a significant
shareholder in the Company.  As a result, Colin McNab now holds 1,887,144
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 6.12% of the
Company's existing issued ordinary share capital (or 6.29% of the issued
ordinary share capital following cancellation of the shares concerned).
