TRW to Close Cookeville, Tennessee Facility LIVONIA, Mich., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TRW Vehicle Safety Systems Inc. today announced the decision to close its Cookeville, Tenn. facility. It is anticipated that employees will not be impacted until the middle of 2006 and full assistance and support will be provided in helping prepare them for future employment at that time. The decision is based on the steadily increasing pricing pressure in the marketplace and the need to remain competitive to secure new business growth.
