a new generation of local designers and artisans by creating pop-up

Cominar is pleased to announce that Mandala Wear will be
organizing an exclusive Mandala Nomad Tour in Cominar's
shopping centres all year long. "We want to offer women a new type
of shopping experience. Pop-up boutiques allow us to create major
events in places where people gather together, such as shopping
centres. Thanks to our partnership with Cominar, we are proud to
pressent our first tour across Québec." said Maryse Gagnon, Mandala Wear's Co-owner. The tour
will kick off in Québec City at Place de la Cité in March. It will
then travel to Les Rivières, Galeries Rive Nord, Galeries de Hull,
Carrefour Rimouski, Centre Laval and Mail Champlain. "Cominar's
partnership with Mandala Wear is part of our goal to place
consumers and entrepreneurs at the onset of a business strategy. We
want to rethink and transform the traditional relationships between
leasers and retailers in order to foster entrepreneurship, support
a new generation of business owners, and highlight the work of
upcoming designers and artisans," explained Manon Larose, Cominar's Vice President
Retail-Leasing.
Over the past several months, Cominar has launched innovative
concepts that act as incubators for new businesses, including its
Womance sort du web in several of its shopping centres, FMD
Pop-up Tour, which celebrated the 2017 Fashion & Design
Festival, Mandy's food truck at Rockland and the Kanevas bags pop-up boutique
at Place de la Cité.
Cominar is planning other pop-up boutiques in its shopping
centres as it addresses a new trend in retail; the retail industry
must reinvent itself and complement ecommerce so that customers can
enjoy one-of-a-kind shopping experiences that bring designers
closer to their clienteles.

Mandala Wear provides an alternative to the performance
lifestyle that is so valued in today's society. We are dead set
against fast fashion and choose durable and comfortable materials
that are suitable for an active lifestyle. Drawing our inspiration
from the precepts of yoga and relaxation, we create clothes, right
here in Quebec, that are designed
for women in all their glory and diversity. At the heart of Mandala
Wear's mission is an ambition to create comfortable clothing for
women of all sizes. Behind the company's vision are Cynthia and
