TORONTO, Dec. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - FT Portfolios Canada Co., the manager of First Trust AlphaDEX^TM Canadian Dividend Plus ETF, First Trust AlphaDEX^TMU.S. Dividend Plus ETF (CAD-Hedged), First Trust AlphaDEX^TM Emerging Market Dividend ETF (CAD-Hedged), First Trust Senior Loan ETF (CAD-Hedged) and First Trust AlphaDEX^TM European Dividend Index ETF (CAD-Hedged), (collectively, the "Funds") announced today that the auditor of the Funds has recently completed a review of the Funds' interim financial reports for the six month period ended June 30, 2014 (the "Interim Reports").  

A review of the unaudited Interim Reports had not been completed prior to August 29, 2014 when the Interim Reports were filed on SEDAR. The recently completed review did not require restatement of the unaudited Interim Reports.
