Further to the press release of Platino Energy Corp. ("Platino") (TSX
VENTURE:PZE) dated December 5, 2013, Platino announces that it has issued
1,000,000 common shares (the "Platino Shares") to Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp.
("Pacific Rubiales"). The Platino Shares were issued in connection with the
final settlement of Pacific Rubiales' claim pursuant to a reimbursement
agreement between Platino and C&C Energia Ltd. ("C&C") entered into in
connection with the plan of arrangement pursuant to which Pacific Rubiales
acquired C&C and Platino was spun off to the former shareholders of C&C.
