Romarco encounters 21.3 meters of 7.2 g/t Au west of South Pit

/CNW Telbec/ - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the "Company") is
pleased to announce encouraging results from step-out drilling in
the South pit area. The results continue to expand the
mineralization to the west and down dip of the currently proposed
South Pit. These new mineralized intercepts are from six step-out
holes collared between 122 and 146 meters (400 and 480 feet) west
of the currently proposed South Pit limit, and the intercepts range
from 85 to 137 meters (280 to 450 feet) beyond the proposed pit
walls. Highlights from the drill results include RC-1779 that
intersected 21.3 meters (69.9 feet) of 7.2 g/t (0.209 opt) Au, and
RC-1781 that intersected 10.7 meters (35.1 feet) of 4.1 g/t (0.119
opt) Au, and 4.6 meters (15.1 feet) of 6.6 g/t (0.192 opt) Au.
Details of the drill results are given in the table below.
Additional step-out drilling has been completed in this area and
the assays are pending for these holes.

Boart Longyear, and by Connors Drilling. The drill samples are
