Brewing firm SABMiller PLC (SAB.LN), which houses the Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Miller Genuine Draft and Grolsch brands under its portfolio, said Tuesday it, Anadolu Group and Anadolu Efes have signed the definitive transaction agreement for the formation of their strategic alliance for Turkey, Russia, the CIS, Central Asia and the Middle East.

MAIN FACTS:

-Deal was originally announced on Oct. 19, 2011.

-Completion of the transaction is subject to receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals.

-SABMiller shares closed Monday at 2389.5 pence valuing the brewer at GBP38.0 billion.
