On February 26, 2009, the Board of Directors of Avensys Corporation (the “Company”) appointed Mr. Jean-Marc Fortier as Chair of the Audit Committee to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Bernard Bougie’s resignation. Mr. Fortier has served as a non-executive Director of the Company since July of 2008.
