Hall of Fame Beverages, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HFBG) expanded its
management team today when CEO Greg Thrasher introduced the
executives who will help him grow the company and develop the Grand
Ma Ma Brand into the future.
Greg Thrasher, who was named the company's CEO earlier this
week, announced Alexander Johnson as Hall of Fame's new Chief
Financial Officer (CFO) and Eric Thrasher as the new Vice President
of Marketing.
Alexander Johnson brings 6 years of financial management to the
team. Johnson spent the last 6 years conducting financial analysis,
contract management and consulting with both a Fortune 500 and
Fortune 1000 company. These companies specialized in consulting and
government contracting.
In his role as CFO with Hall of Fame, Alex will direct all
financial aspects of the business including accounting practices,
budgeting, financial planning, interfacing with the financial
community, financial analysis, acquisitions and ventures, and
monitoring of financial performance.
The company's CEO says Johnson's experience will vastly enhance
Hall of Fame's future. "He was chosen because of his strong
analytical skills, hands-on business experience with managing
multimillion dollar contracts, and his track record of managing the
financials of heavily regulated government contracts while
remaining compliant with government regulations."
Johnson said, "I am excited to join an executive team at Hall of
Fame Beverages that is 100% focused on building the company and the
brands it distributes. Hall of Fame Beverages has an amazing line
of products that will without a doubt create returning customers.
As the new CFO, I will ensure that the financial wellbeing of the
company always remains in good standing."
Johnson earned a BS in Accounting from Old Dominion University,
and he earned his MS in Accounting and Information Systems from the
University of Maryland.
Eric Thrasher joins the team as the new Vice President of
Marketing for Hall of Fame. He comes to the company from Thrasher
Entertainment Group (TEG) which he started back in 1997. He brings
over 26 years of marketing and promotions experience to the CEO's
new team of executives. His career includes working with such
iconic companies as Motown Records, Fortune 500 Time-Warner
(Warner/Reprise) Records, Virgin Records and Perspective/A&M
Records.
His company (Thrasher Entertainment Group) was hired by TRAMA
Records, the National Marketing & Promotions consultant for
Shaquille O'Neal (TWISM Records) and later hired as
Marketing/Promotions consultant for DreamWorks Records (SKG) Urban
Music Division. Eric also has experience and contacts in the Hair
Care and Consumer Products industry.
Hall of Fame's CEO says, "Eric comes to the company with a
no-nonsense approach to marketing and brand management, and he
brings a wealth of experience from the entertainment industry where
he will focus on getting branding opportunities from film and
music."
While understanding past challenges, Eric sees great
opportunities ahead for Hall of Fame Beverages. "Our mandate is to
maximize visibility for our products and to create distribution and
placement in our targeted markets. As the new Vice President of
Marketing, I look forward to the continued growth of the company's
signature brand, Grand Ma Ma's Sweet Southern Tea."
Eric earned a BBA in Marketing from The University of Arkansas
at Little Rock and he was a member of the Phi Sigma Epsilon
Marketing fraternity at the school.
The Team will be introducing a new product at Hall of Fame next
week, and the CEO will provide an update on Grand Ma Ma's Sweet
Southern Tea and his plans for Hall of Fame's 100 days of selling
season from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
