HYPF Hypower Fuel Inc (CE)

HyPower Fuel Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HYPF) previously announced its vision of an Environmental Energy Centre (EEC) for the construction and advancement of biofuel and alternative energy technologies and processes.

Mr. Douglas Bender, President of HyPower, today announced that "HyPower and its development partners will undertake to construct an Environmental Energy Centre in a non-food feedstock location. The EEC will own and control sufficient feedstock sources to ensure the longevity and profitability of the overall project."

Mr. Bender went on to explain that "The single largest hurdle to the construction of any biofuel plant is the assurance of a cost-effective and reliable source of feedstock, particularly non-food feedstocks whose price can often fluctuate widely with the price of oil. This became even more apparent to us after we attended the recent Biodiesel and Biomass National Conferences in San Francisco and Portland. We outlined our plan for an EEC and it was well received by venture capitalists, equipment suppliers, growers, feedstock providers, technology providers and the general public. The contacts we made at the Conferences are invaluable in allowing us to capitalize on our technologies in multiple jurisdictions."
