PR Newswire (US)
MONTOURSVILLE, Pa., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LEEP, Inc.
(OTC:LPPI) announced today that it has retained Leon Bridges, a
Baltimore, Maryland architect, to develop the specifications for
LeepCore walls, floors and roofs for pending orders for new
townhouses. Mr. Bridges is a partner in the architectural firm The
Obsidian Group, and has significant architectural accomplishments
to his credit, which include the design and implementation of city
and university buildings and large residential housing projects in
Baltimore. LEEP Management stated that Mr. Bridges is creating the
LeepCore specifications for the townhouses and will assist the
contractors to implement LeepCore construction. The new
construction townhouse project is being developed by Affordable
Housing Solutions, Inc. (AHS), a Maryland-based company that
develops affordable, assisted living and planned community housing
projects and is developing the New and Rehab Construction town home
project, consisting of well over 100 units. Many of the planned
LeepCore designs will use LeepCore to replace wood in the process
of constructing walls, roof and floors. LEEP plans to begin
shipping customized LeepCore panel orders from its Pennsylvania
plant to Baltimore within the next 45 days. LEEP Management also
stated that, as previously reported, current panel inventory of
LeepCore exceeds 350,000 square feet, which will enable LEEP to
immediately fill orders for a significant number of new townhouses.
LEEP plans to accelerate its weekly production of LeepCore panels
at its Montoursville, Pennsylvania plant to prepare for additional
orders. LEEP continues to put the highest priority on developing
new customer relationships for use of LeepCore in both single and
multi-family residential developments, particularly affordable
housing units. In addition, another new customer has constructed
several sales models of a unique LeepCore-built re- locatable
building, which it plans to market by year-end. LEEP anticipates
additional orders will be forthcoming from this and other
customers, along with follow-on orders from AHS, et al., through
the remainder of the year. THE COMPANY LEEP is a publicly held
manufacturer of LeepCore(TM) Structural Panels. The product offers
advanced benefits, including cost-effective design and reduced
