Lukoil PJSC said Wednesday that its oil and gas production increased 3.2% in the third quarter compared with the previous period.

The Russian energy company produced an average of 2.13 million barrels of oil equivalent a day in the three months through the end of September, up from 2.07 million BOE in the second quarter.

Oil production in the third quarter totaled 20.3 million metric tons, and gas output was 7.7 billion cubic meters.

In addition, refinery throughput was up 9.9% on quarter at 17.3 million tons, reflecting a recovery in refineries' utilization rates after the completion of maintenances.
