France's Michelin (ML.FR) said Friday that Florent Menegaux will take over as the company's chief executive at the close of its 2019 annual shareholders meeting.

Mr. Menegaux, who is currently senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been with the company since 1997, according to Michelin's website.

Mr. Menegaux succeeds Jean-Dominique Senard, who will not stand for re-election at the close of his current term. Mr. Senard has served as CEO since 2012.
