Business Wire
Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK), a leading provider of
intelligent wireless power management and emergency notification
solutions, announced today that it has received an order from
Snohomish County Fire District 4 in Washington for its FAS-8
Firehouse Automation System. Several fire districts have been
upgrading their firehouse automation and emergency alerting systems
with Nighthawk solutions. Utilizing the proprietary Nighthawk
board, the FAS-8 enhances the automation of a firehouse through
integration with the 911 CAD system. The FAS-8 receives the
emergency dispatch from the 911 operator and automatically turns
devices on or off as specified by the firehouse. The most common
devices to turn on include the PA amplifier, audible wake-up alarm,
and lights. The most common device turned off is the stove. A
message including the location and description of the emergency can
also be printed using the FAS-8, allowing the fire district to
implement rip and run functionality. H. Douglas Saathoff,
Nighthawks Chief Executive Officer, stated, Were extremely
pleased to receive this latest order from Snohomish County Fire
District 4. The reliability of our products already installed and
working for other fire districts in Snohomish County continues to
provide us with additional opportunities. We look forward to
providing more of our firehouse automation and emergency alerting
solutions to the fire districts in Washington and beyond to help
automate processes and deliver critical information where and when
its needed. About Nighthawk Systems, Inc. Nighthawk is a leading
