ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.,
Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- O2 Secure Wireless, Inc.
(Pink Sheets: OTOW) has recently opened up new avenues to revenue
through wireless offerings to the educational sector and has been
offered a large opportunity to grow the corporate retail footprint
through partnerships with Chinese manufacturer of O2 branded mobile
devices.
As was announced on June 29, 2012,
O2 Secure Wireless entered into a partnership with a leading
Chinese manufacturer on the design for a new line of global
smartphones and tablets capable of being used across the
globe. These Android powered devices are now through the
design process and we are in possession of our first prototype
phone. This mobile phone, containing many advanced features
and a 4.5" screen is in the hands of CEO Val Kazia and is undergoing final quality
assurance and functionality testing prior to entering the full
manufacturing cycle.
"My initial review and that of our consulting engineers of the
device is very positive," states Val
Kazia, CEO of O2 Secure Wireless, "The manufacturer has
expanded upon our initial ideas and has delivered a device that I
believe can be a direct competitor against the leading wireless
devices on the market. With our low-entry price point, I
believe that we have the opportunity to gain very positive headway
into the market."
In addition to devices themselves, O2 Secure Wireless has been
offered an opportunity to become a strategic reseller of all
devices from the manufacturer. In addition to our
Florida branded facility, we have
been given the opportunity to lead efforts to open franchise
offices across the Eastern U.S., South
America, and the Caribbean. The revenue opportunities
in this model come from franchise fees, mobile device profit
margins, and reoccurring revenue from wireless service minute
reloads, nearly tripling the original projections. It is
predicted by IDC research that nearly 2.5 billion phones will be
sold between 2012 and 2015, giving OTOW a huge profit
opportunity.
Continuing on our growth opportunities are recent developments
in the educational sector. OTOW is perfectly positioned to
take advantage of this $100m
business, which is rapidly evolving and now utilizing wireless
technology. Company CEO, Val
Kazia recently met with principals and IT staff at local
educational facilities and presented ideas on how the company can
use its full suite of solutions to provide end-user products,
wireless infrastructure to educational facilities of all
sizes. With smart phones exceeding the sales of PC's for the
first time, educators are quickly moving to utilizing this
ubiquitous technology.
As our educational opportunities expand, we will continue to
work with the manufacturer for U.S. Market enhancements, including
special enhancements for the educational community.
Florida alone has $25,000,000 budgeted in 2013 for wireless
services with each individual district having additional
funds. We believe our total wireless package will be
considered by many facilities as part of the wireless renovation
efforts in 2013-2015, and our goal is to pilot or solution in ten
institutions in the first quarter of 2013 if given the
opportunity.
Early projections indicate that O2 wireless can be responsible
for the sale of over one million smart phones and tablets in 2013
globally. By protecting our profit margin, and including
monthly charges, these sales projections will improve the revenue
of the company by in excess of $2,000,000 in sales monthly, with a three year
projection of $50,000,000 in sales
throughout North America.
