Transnational Automotive Group, Inc. (OTC:TAMG), today announced that Phil Thomas, BSc Geol, MBM, MAIG, MAIMVA will join the Company's Board of Directors effective March 1, 2014. Mr. Thomas is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience serving in board, executive and senior management roles in the mining industry. Currently, he is Chief Executive of Vallenar Iron Company in Chile and has been involved with Vallenar's magnetite iron ore project since February 2005. Previously, Mr. Thomas served as CEO of Melbourne-based Admiralty Resources NL, a publicly traded company on the Australian Stock Exchange, from 2003 to 2008 in addition to holding other senior level management and advisory roles with the Company. He also serves as President and Owner of Panopus Plc, a geological consulting and investment banking group focused on the exploration, mining and processing of lithium, iron ore, copper and gold ores as well as oil and gas. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Thomas provided consulting services for clients in a range of mining projects providing exploration, risk, financial modeling and ore reserve services. Prior to that, he headed the retail division of a private banking, stock-brokerage and financial advisory group and has served as part of a team that raised capital for 22 companies on the ASX after working for Macquarie Bank as an investment banker for five years.
