KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.,
April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/
-- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCQB: MDHI.PK),
today announced it will be returning the MediPendant™ to television
advertising as soon as May 20. MediPendant™ is a patented
two-way voice medical alarm technology that enables the user to
speak and listen directly through the pendant no matter where the
user may be in and around their home.
The Company's media buyer will be targeting several previously
proven television networks for this upcoming campaign including,
Lifetime Movie Network, Inspirational Channel, Hallmark Movie
Channel and Fox News, in addition to several other networks
matching the customer demographic of middle-aged men and women with
elderly parents.
"This new effort will be in addition to the television
advertising we plan to reinstitute over the coming weeks in
conjunction with our media partner, Harrington Media. Our newest
television commercial is at the final stages of re-edits, and we
will then begin booking new air times," commented Ronnie Adams, President of Medical Alarm
Concepts. "We are very pleased that we now have a new credit
line that enables us the flexibility to add additional television
advertising with a completely different commercial spot; one that
will complement the joint effort with Harrington."
In other news, several months ago the Company began working with
one of the country's largest discount warehouse retail
operations. The Company has completed much of the processes
required to get started, and expects the MediPendant™ product
offering to go live over the short-term." Mr. Adams added,
"We do not have an exact date for this to occur, but believe it to
be in the very short term. Additionally, we will be receiving
a shipment of inventory from our factory in the next couple of
weeks, which will enable us to begin filling our largest order to
date. We had previously announced the release of 3,500 units
with follow up orders of approximately 1,500 units per month
through the end of this year. This will enable us to cover the vast
majority of our monthly operating costs. We remain very
excited about our prospects for marketing our unique medical alarm
product and believe we are now realizing these successes."
About MDHI
Medical Alarm Concepts Holdings, Inc. (MAC) develops and
manufactures innovative products and practical solutions within the
framework of a vast growing marketplace. MediPendant's™ patented
two-way voice technology enables the user to speak and listen
directly through the pendant no matter where the user may be in and
around their home. MediPendant™ service also includes advanced
features such as three-way calling that enables the operator to
link loved ones directly into the emergency call in real time.
Text message alerts are also standard, and are used to inform
loved ones that the user has contacted an operator or has requested
assistance. A standard PERS system does not enable the user to
speak and listen through the pendant, thus limiting them to a small
area in their home. There is always the risk that the user will not
be heard by the call center operator if they are not within a short
range of the base station. For more information, please visit our
