BEA - FINAL AGREEMENT NIGERIA LNG

Bergesen announced in press release No. 6/2002 that the company had entered into
a preliminary agreement with Nigeria LNG Limited for employment of four LNG-
carriers for minimum 20 1/2 years from delivery.

Nigeria LNG Limited has made its final investment decision, and the charter
agreement between Bergesen and Nigeria LNG is now final.
