Pan American Energy LLC, Argentine Branch
On May 21, 2008, Pan American Energy LLC, Argentine Branch ("PAE") entered into
a USD 200 million Senior Unsecured Syndicated Term Loan with the following
banks: Calyon, JPMorgan, ABN Amro, Banco Ita�, Natixis, Rabobank and Export
Development Canada.
This Syndicated Term Loan Facility was arranged by Calyon and JPMorgan, which
together with ABN Amro were the Joint-Lead Arrangers.
The Syndicated Term Loan Facility has a maturity of 3 years and provides for a
grace period of 2 years for repayment or principal. Payments of principal are
paid in 3 semi-annual installments, the first one on the second anniversary.
PAE, a joint venture between BP plc and Bridas Corporation, is the
second-largest oil and gas producer in Argentina, accounting for approximately
15 percent of the country's output.
