          Publication of the audited financial statements of the Company
                for the 9 months ended 31 December 2002 and
                         Annual General Meeting



The Board of Arko announces that the audited financial statements of the Company
for the nine months ended 31 December 2002 have been published and despatched to
Arko shareholders on 30 June 2003.

Copies of these financial statements will be available for one month from
today's date from the office of Nabarro Wells & Co. Ltd., Saddlers House,
Cheapside, London EC2V 6HS.

It is further announced that the Annual General Meeting of the Company will be
held at 11.00 am on 23 July 2002 at 12 St James's Square, London SW1Y 4RB.
