                             Cancellation of Listing

Altria Group, Inc. announces today that it has made an application to the UKLA,
in accordance with Listing Rule 5.3 that the listing of its shares on the
Official List be cancelled. Subject to approval from the UKLA, the proposed date
for such cancellation and the cancellation of trading of its shares on the main
market of the London Stock Exchange is 11 December 2007.

Altria's decision to cancel its listing on the Official List follows a
comprehensive review of the trading volume, costs and administrative
requirements related to its listings on various foreign stock exchanges. Altria
will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, which is its home
exchange as an issuer based in the United States.
