    Brierley Investments Limited ("BIL") announces that through its wholly
    owned subsidiary, Inscribe Investments Limited, it has acquired an
    additional 373,000 shares of Fraser and Neave Limited at the price of
    S$6.97 per share. BIL now holds 10.983% of the paid-up capital of Fraser
    and Neave Limited.
