company, announces that it was informed on September 29, 2008 that on that date Derek R. Gray, a director and chairman, bought on the open
market at fair value, 2,000 Clean Diesel Technologies common shares at a price of 238 pence per share. Following this purchase Mr. Gray has
a beneficial interest in 97,755 Clean Diesel shares.
