Dover and Manston Project Update

Dover

The Company is pleased to announce that it signed a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) with Dover District Council (DDC) on Friday 22 July 2011 in regard to the proposed development at Western Heights and Great Farthingloe Farm, Dover.

The PPA includes a programme which sets out timescales agreed by both parties to help deliver the submission of a planning application by the end of January 2012.

The key objective of the PPA is to establish co-operation and consistency throughout the pre-submission negotiation process and to provide a degree of certainty for the Council (DDC) and for the applicant (CGI).

Manston

The Company continues to work closely with Thanet District Council and Kent County Council to satisfy the necessary surveys and the terms of the Section 106 Agreement have been agreed in principle by all parties. Following submission and a 21 day EIA regulatory period, this matter will be referred to the next meeting of the Thanet District Council Planning Committee.
