Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride") has today received notification that Fidelity
International Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries (together
"Fidelity") no longer has a disclosable interest in the share capital of
Chloride.

The previous position notified by Fidelity was on 3 April 2001, when its
interest in 7,518,338 (3.04%) Chloride ordinary shares was disclosed.
