Appointment of Gytis M. Barzdukas as Vice President, Sales and Marketing
LONDON - 8 May 2007 - Future Internet Technologies plc is pleased to announce
the appointment of Gytis M. Barzdukas, 43, as Vice President, Sales and
Marketing.
Gytis joins FIT after a successful 12 year career at Microsoft where he managed
several major businesses. Most recently, as the director responsible for
Microsoft's Windows Live Platform (including Messenger and Hotmail) at MSN,
Gytis led communications services strategy engagement with major global
telecommunications companies. He was also director of product management for
the Microsoft Office business, leading the industry renowned global marketing
machine in its launch of Office 2003.
Gytis directed the introduction of Microsoft SharePoint Server, now the fastest
growing server business at Microsoft. He also played leading roles in the
Microsoft Exchange Server and Security business units. Prior to joining
Microsoft, he was director of business development for the SABRE division of
AMR. He has an MBA from the University of Michigan.
