Court Sanction of the Scheme

Hansa Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce that earlier today the Court sanctioned the scheme of arrangement under section 895 to 899 of the Company Act 2006, pursuant to which holders of A ordinary shares and ordinary shares will be issued with new shares in Hansa Investment Company Limited (the "Scheme"), and therefore it expects the Scheme to become effective on 29 August 2019. It is expected that Admission will occur, and that dealings in the New Hansa Shares, will commence on 29 August 2019. It is also expected that the listing of Hansa Trust Shares will be cancelled on that date.

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement will have the same meaning as set out in the circular published by the Company on 4 July 2019.
