In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 the
directors of IMS MAXIMS plc would like to notify the market that IMS's issued
share capital consists of 253,450,826 ordinary shares of 1p each as at the date
of this announcement. No ordinary shares are held in treasury.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, IMS MAXIMS plc under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
