    Nord Anglia Education PLC (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for the blocklisting of 1,140,775 Ordinary shares of 5 pence each (the "shares") in the Company. It is expected that the
blocklisting will become effective on 10 September 2008. 

    The shares will be issued in connection with the Nord Anglia Executive Share Option Plan 2007, the Nord Anglia Approved Share Option
Scheme and the Nord Anglia Unapproved Share Option Scheme. When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
