Jonathan Nelson Appointed CEO of the New Initiative NEW YORK, Sept.
30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE-OMC) today
announced the creation of Omnicom Digital, a new unit charged with
leading strategic initiatives across all digital properties at
Omnicom, the industry's largest digital holding company according
to Advertising Age rankings in 2009 and 2008. Jonathan Nelson,
founder and most recently chairman of Organic, has been named CEO
of Omnicom Digital, effective immediately. In making the
announcement, John Wren, president and CEO of Omnicom Group, said,

all things digital. Today we can unequivocally say that all our
major business platforms have a strong digital component and that
as a holding company we are well represented in all significant

helping clients with digital opportunities." In his new role,
Nelson will assist Omnicom's digital business platforms in the
