Public relations company Fleishman Hillard will join with GMR
Marketing to acquire Amos Content Group and create a joint venture
called Freshwire, the New York Times reported on its website
Tuesday.
Amos Content Group Chief Executive Shawn Amos will remain in the
same position with Freshwire, which will create editorial-like
content for brands that include videos, blogs, slideshows and
more.
Fleishman Hillard and GMR Marketing are part of the Omnicom
Group (OMC).
The Times said the acquisition is estimated to have cost between
$5 million and $10 million. The article cited officials from all
three companies, including Dave Senay, the president and chief
executive of Fleishman Hillard; Mr. Amos, and Gary Reynolds, the
chief executive of GMR Marketing.
