  According to �� 21, 22 WpHG, Barclays plc has notified us on 19 January 2009 acting in their name and in the name of their subsidiaries Barclays Bank plc and Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd. that they would like to revoke the following notifications made in their own name and in the name and on the behalf of their subsidiaries Barclays Bank plc and Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd. regarding the holding of voting rights held in PAION AG. 

  1) Revocation of a notification of voting rights in their own name and on their own behalf 

  Barclays plc hereby revokes its notification of voting rights dated 1 July 2008 and published on 3 July 2008 regarding PAION AG as at the time stated in the notification, no thresholds had been reached and thus no obligation of notification existed. 

  2) Revocation of a notification of voting rights in the name and on behalf of Barclays Bank plc 

  Barclays Bank plc hereby revokes its notification of voting rights dated 1 July and published on 3 July 2008 regarding PAION AG as at the time stated in the notification, no thresholds had been reached and thus no obligation of notification existed. 

  3) Revocation of a notification of voting rights in the name of and on behalf of Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd. 

  Barclays Bank Trust Company hereby revokes its notification of voting rights dated 1 July 2008 and published on 3 July 2008 regarding PAION AG as at the time stated in the notification, no thresholds had been reached and thus no obligation of notification existed.
