Directorship

RMR plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael
Peagram as Chairman of the Company.  Mr. Peagram is currently Deputy Chairman
of Yule Catto & Company plc having previously been Chief Executive of Holliday
Chemicals.

Mr. Peagram succeeds Barbara Thomas who has resigned as a Director of the
Company because she believes that in view of her other commitments she is
unable to devote sufficient of her time to the Company.

Commenting on Mr. Peagram's appointment, Philip Marcella, Chief Executive of
the Company, said:  "I am delighted that Michael has accepted our invitation
to become non-executive Chairman and would like to thank Barbara for her
assistance through and since our flotation."
