                              Exercise of Warrants



Xceldiam confirms that on 14 March 2007 the directors of the Company approved an
allotment of shares following the exercise of warrants over ordinary shares of
US$0.0006  in the share capital of the Company (the "Warrants"); exercised on 8
March 2007 prior to the Record Date for the in-specie dividend of shares in
Petra Diamonds Limited, as set out below:

Application will be made for the ordinary shares created pursuant to the
exercise of the Warrants (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading
on AIM and dealings in the New Ordinary Shares is expected to commence on 20
March 2007.



The total number of issued ordinary shares in the Company, including the New
Ordinary Shares, is now 55,604,831 ordinary shares.
