German insurer Allianz SE (ALV.XE) Wednesday announced some
personnel changes to take effect Jan. 1, 2014.
MAIN FACTS:
-George Sartorel, Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Italia SpA,
will become regional CEO of Allianz Asia Pacific, a post that is
vacant.
-His successor will be Klaus-Peter Roehler, now CEO of Allianz
Suisse.
-The new CEO of Allianz Switzerland will be Severin Moser, CEO
of Allianz Versicherungs AG (property and casualty insurance).
-Mr. Moser will be succeeded by Alexander Vollert, board member
and Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Deutschland AG.
-The tasks of Mr. Vollert will be taken over by Manfred Knof in
addition to his duties as a board member of Allianz
Deutschland.
