U.K. Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has commissioned an economic and fiscal forecast to be presented alongside his Spring Budget on March 6.

Hunt commissioned the Office for Budget Responsibility to prepare the forecast, His Majesty's Treasury said Wednesday on X, formerly Twitter. The office describes itself as an independent analyst of the U.K.'s public finances.

Last week, Hunt said the U.K. government will continue to focus on reducing cost-of-living pressures after price rises continued to ease in November, and by more than expected.
