TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2018 /CNW/ - Rubicon Minerals
Corporation (TSX: RMX | OTCQX: RBYCF) ("Rubicon" or the
"Company") announces it has closed its previously reported
bought deal private placement financing of 7,122,034 flow-through
common shares of the Company (the "Flow-Through Common
Shares"), which includes the exercise of the underwriters'
option in part, at a price of C$1.53
per Flow-Through Common Share for aggregate gross proceeds to the
Company of C$10,896,712 (the
"Offering").
The Offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters led by
BMO Capital Markets and including TD Securities Inc., Laurentian
Bank Securities Inc. and Mackie Research Capital Corporation.
The gross proceeds from the Offering will be used for Canadian
Exploration Expenses (("CEE") (within the meaning of the
Income Tax Act (Canada)),
and the Company will renounce such CEE with an effective date of no
later than December 31, 2018.
